The report provides practical guidance and examples for local authorities and Producer Responsibility Organisations in charge of coordinating and conducting municipal waste management, so that they can better assess their situation, define their priorities, and improve the overall performances of the system. The guidelines present general principles leading to improved performances for municipal waste management, as well as specifically for the three waste fractions covered by the project: paper and packaging waste, waste electrical and electronic equipment, construction and demolition waste.
